Highlands Falls Country Club is a 550 acre private, member-owned, gated club surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest. There are approximately 400 properties  which blend into the forest greenery. Club members can enjoy many amenities such as golf, tennis, hiking, fishing, spa services and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

The scenic golf course was designed by famed golf course architect Joe Lee. His vision was to incorporate the natural beauty of the mountains into the design of the 18 hole course. The course’s signature hole, number 15, features a 100 foot waterfall as its’ backdrop.

Enjoy fine dining in the recently remodeled dining facility.

A diversified menu offers locally grown produce, rainbow trout, coastal Carolina shrimp and North Carolina black grouper. The proximity to Atlanta gives access to a broad range of ingredients found only in cosmopolitan markets.

Professionals in fitness and spa services and state-of-the-art workout equipment provide for an overall body experience and many services such as hiking, fitness classes and personal trainers are available for an overall fitness experience.

The clubhouse is open May 1st and closes October 31st and the course opens May 1 depending on conditions. Prospective members must apply and have two Equity members willing to be sponsors. Membership is granted through the approval process of the Membership Committee and the Board of Directors. An Equity Membership allows full golfing privileges and the use of all other Club amenities. The Young Executive Membership allows the use of all privileges and facilities for applicants under age 54 and a Social Membership includes limited golf and facility usage.
